This notice explains, in plain language, what information Palace Exotic Car Hire (“Palace Exotics”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it and the choices you have. It is a general notice and not legal advice.

Information we collect

When you send a booking enquiry, we collect the details you choose to give us:

your full name, mobile number and email address;
your preferred contact method;
event details: occasion type, date, pickup time, pickup location, destination or venue, preferred vehicle and number of passengers;
whether you are interested in a photography or videography package; and
any additional details you include in your message.

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok, we receive the information you share through that channel. Those services are operated by third parties under their own privacy terms.

Like most websites, our hosting server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions and protect the form from abuse.

Why we use it

We use your information only to:

respond to your enquiry and confirm availability and requirements;
plan and coordinate a chauffeured booking you ask us to arrange; and
keep reasonable records of enquiries and bookings.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists unless you separately ask us to.

Consent

The booking form asks for your consent before you submit it. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, although we may then be unable to assist with your booking.

Sharing

Booking-form enquiries are sent by email to a private inbox managed on our behalf by our website provider, Lion Media, and passed to the Palace Exotics team to respond. We share information only with people who need it to arrange your booking (for example, the assigned chauffeur, or a photographer if you request a media package), with service providers who host this website or deliver our email, or where the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. When you open the booking form, the site sets one strictly necessary security cookie that protects the form against misuse from other websites. It holds a random value, contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser. If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is stored in your own browser so the site remembers it on your next visit. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and keep it only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
